June 29, 2019 - K24 Swahili news anchor Isabella Kituri has welcomed a bouncing baby girl, her second child.
Ms Kituri, who experienced a labour scare on live TV just a few days ago, shared a video on Instagram announcing the birth of her new daughter.
“Now I know what Baby Shark song is all about. She loves it already!!!” she captioned the video, referencing her newborn's love for the popular children's song.
Her friends and colleagues sent congratulatory messages to Isabella as she welcomed her new bundle of joy to the world.
Ms Kituri had previously joked about her co-anchor Franklin Wambugu's reaction during her labour scare, saying he was ready to wheel her to hospital.
“Nkt! This crazy guy called Braxton Hicks....visits pregger mums as a falsified labour agent... @franklinwambugu01 was ready to wheelbarrow me out of @k24tv studio... #faithoverfear #makeyourownfun #yummymummies,” she wrote.
