The message came as a tribute to the late Ole Magelo's dedication to public service and his commitment to making Kenya a better country for all.

President Kenyatta described Ole Magelo as an outstanding leader who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of Kenyans, citing his appointment as a member of the Kenya Leather Development Council in 2020 as an example of his commitment to duty.

"I have known the late Ole Magelo for a long time, and from my interactions with him, I came to appreciate his commitment and desire to make life better for others," President Kenyatta said in his message.
