Are you a Mshwari user looking to check your loan balance in 2021? You're in luck, as the process is quick and simple.
Mshwari is a collaboration between NCBA bank and Safaricom, offering loan limits ranging from Ksh100 to Ksh50,000 for 30 days.
There are three ways to check your Mshwari loan balance: through the Sim Toolkit menu, the My Safaricom app, or the USSD code 334#.
Using the Sim Toolkit Menu
- Navigate to the Sim Toolkit menu.
- Select ‘Safaricom,’ then ‘Mpesa,’ and finally ‘Loans and Savings.’
- Choose ‘Mshwari,’ then ‘Loan,’ and finally ‘Loan Balance.’
- Enter your Mpesa PIN to proceed.
- Your Mshwari loan balance will be sent to you via SMS.
Using the My Safaricom App
- Download, install, and sign up for the My Safaricom app.
- Go to the ‘Mpesa’ tab, then to ‘Loans & Savings.’
- Tap on ‘Mshwari’ followed by ‘Loan’ to view your Mshwari loan balance.
Via USSD Code
- Dial 334# to access the USSD code.
- Choose option 4: ‘Loans & Savings.’
- Then choose option 2: ‘Mshwari.’
- Finally, choose option 4: ‘Check balance.’
- Enter your Mpesa PIN to proceed, and your Mshwari balance will be sent to you via SMS.
