Published on August 1, 2020, Kenyan YouTuber Natalie Tewa has finally broken her silence after weeks of speculation that she traveled to Dubai with Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
Weeks ago, Governor Joho had traveled to Dubai, and Natalie Tewa was also spotted on a private jet, sparking rumors that they had traveled together.
Netizens were quick to point out a handbag in the private jet, leading many to conclude that Natalie Tewa had indeed traveled with the governor.
Edgar Obare, a YouTuber, had earlier alleged that Governor Joho had bought Natalie Tewa a car, which led to the governor being summoned by the DCI.
Natalie Tewa took to her Twitter account to respond to the allegations, saying that people should find something better to do with their time.
"We have such a terrible culture of tearing other people down in the name of gossip. There’s already too much negativity in this world, contributing to it doesn’t improve your life or take you higher. Instead use your time wisely, because every minute of our lives counts," she said.
One fan pointed out that Natalie Tewa did not buy the car herself, to which she responded, "You don’t even know what you’re talking about."
Other fans defended Natalie Tewa, saying that she has the right to date anyone she wants and associate with any group as long as she keeps it straight.
