Celebrities Who Had a Disaster Honeymoon ¶
For many newlyweds, the honeymoon is a dreamy getaway to celebrate their love and new life together. However, for some celebrities, their honeymoon turned out to be a nightmare.
According to various sources, Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda, alias Wakavinye, had a humble honeymoon due to financial constraints. They had to eat in vibandas and eventually got a job with bountiful safaris, which offered them a trip to Mombasa. The couple has stated that the Mombasa trip was better than their honeymoon.
Willis Raburu and his wife Marya Prude also had a disastrous honeymoon. Marya Prude narrated their experience, saying, 'THIS ROOM HAD A BED THAT WAS TOO HIGH… I HAD TO LITERALLY CLIMB IT.' She also mentioned that the room had millipedes, and a black animal resembling a monitor lizard got into their room. The hotel owners, Italians, did not take any meaningful action to address their concerns.
Breakdown Ben, a secular gospel artiste, got divorced after discovering that his wife was already pregnant for another man. He narrated his experience on Diaspora TV, saying, 'ON OUR WEDDING DAY, I WOULD HOLD HER HANDS AND SHE WOULD RELEASE THEM, SHE DID NOT WANT PHOTOS DURING OR WEDDING.'
