On June 12, 2020, the management of Oshwal Park Estate in Parklands, Nairobi, issued a statement warning residents to be extra cautious after three of their neighbours tested positive for coronavirus.

The three individuals, who were asymptomatic, voluntarily underwent testing and were confirmed to be positive. In response, they self-isolated and quarantined themselves, and their families were also quarantined to prevent further spread.

According to the estate management, contact tracing has been initiated, and the area has been thoroughly disinfected. The management has also requested residents to undergo testing if they came into contact with the infected individuals.

Furthermore, the management has warned against spreading the names and images of the trio, citing concerns for their privacy. The statement read, 'Please refrain from circulating any information, images or names of any infected members. This shall not assist in their recovery instead pray for their speedy recovery and do your part to assist the community.'
